✝️ Perfect for Sunday school, homeschool or Christian school classrooms! Each lesson unit in our Walking Alongside Jesus series is divided into five sections, each section takes between 30 minutes to an hour. This allows homeschool and Christian school teachers to use it daily in the classroom (thereby completing an entire unit in a week) OR in a Sunday School classroom or youth group once a week (thereby completing an entire unit in a month).
✔️Each lesson in this series can stand alone but the tie-ins to previous lessons can be found at the end of each lesson in the section “What Did I Learn about Jesus Today?” In the very first lesson “Road to Emmaus” your students lock step with the resurrected Jesus as He walks alongside two travelers who do not recognize Him initially. We are told in Luke 24:27 that “beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he interpreted to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning himself.” This curriculum series endeavors to imagine what Jesus might have said about Himself through all of the major stories of the Old Testament which is why each lesson in this series ends with the same question: What did I learn about Jesus today?
⏰️Flexible Scheduling: Any of the 17 lesson units in this bundle can be spread over multiple days with clearly labeled stopping points.
✔️Our goal with each lesson is to combine scholarly study in a fun, interactive way so that students not only experience the rich Biblical narrative but also to whet their appetite for more by learning how to study the Scriptures for themselves.
